OKUMMA is a monochromatic-industrial pop band from Purwakarta, West Java. The band consists of Brilyan, Zulfikar, Difnu, and Rizki (or also known as Beben). The band was originally named Oxford Comma, but for certain reasons the name was turned into ‘OKUMMA’ in which it is a Koreanisation/Japanisation-pronunciation of Oxford Comma, Okseufourde KoUMMA. The band technically debuted with a single ‘Vienna’ in 2018, despite previously had a single when the name was still Oxford Comma. The band’s colour and references are influenced by many genres starting from British Pop, Indie Rock, Post Punk, Power Pop, Japanese Indie, Korean indie etc.
Representing their beloved hometown, Purwakarta, the band hopes to be one single formidable unit that shall powers-up the world of music.
